Quality and Environmental Policy ALLPI is committed to implement Quality Management System based on ISO 9001:2015 integrated with Environmental Management System based on ISO 14001:2015 which is consistent and comply with applicable regulatory and statutory requirements in order to: Enhance customer and stakeholder satisfaction; Promote and deliver quality and environment friendly services throughout the leather value chain; Ensure continual improvement of the service, the process and the management system; Create and promote environment friendly working condition throughout the leather value chain and thereby ensure remarkable contribution to the regional, continental and global efforts towards combating environmental degradation; Systematically identify the technical, technological and Information needs of the stakeholders in the leather sector and strive towards ensuring their delivery; Ensure employees involvement. Quality and Environmental Objectives To maintain integrated QMS ISO 9001:2015 and EMS ISO 14001:2015 System through the ALLPI Mid-Term Reviewed Strategic Plan 2016–2025 interventions under Strategic Objective 1 (Activities 1.2, 1.6, 1.10, 1.11) and Strategic Objective 5 (Activity 5.1). To promote the importance of quality and cleaner production throughout the leather value chain, at the ALLPI Annual Regional Consultative Forum and on demand, as an integrated approach (See ALLPI Mid-Term Reviewed Strategic Plan 2016–2025 interventions under Strategic Objective 1 (Activity 1.2), Strategic Objective 5 (Activity 5.2), Strategic Objective 6 (Activities 6.3 and 6.4) To develop internal review system on complaints for service delivery to ALLPI Member States covering the period 2022 (see the ALLPI Mid-Term Reviewed Strategic Plan 2016–2025 interventions under Strategic Objective 1 (Activities 1.2 and 1.6)). To continue building the capacity of the employees based on learned experience, through training at least once per year and on demand, regarding Quality and Environmental Management and on other trainings identified as per planned training arrangements of the Institute (see the ALLPI Mid-Term Reviewed Strategic Plan 2016–2025 interventions under Strategic Objective 1 (Activities 1.2 and 1.6)). To Upscale ALLPI’s experiences in successful accomplishment of Quality and Environment related projects (UNOPS-Switch Africa Green, TBT-REACH Compliance and Regional and National value chain strategies) to Member States and other beneficiaries (see the ALLPI Mid-Term Reviewed Strategic Plan 2016 – 2025, interventions under Strategic Objective (Activities 5.1 and 5.2).
