The COMESA-Leather and Leather Products Institute (COMESA/LLPI) has organized the Regional Leather Trade Information Training-Workshop for its member countries, scheduled to take place from September 25 to 27, 2012.
The training-workshop, organized in collaboration with the COMESA Secretariat and the International Trade Center (ITC), will focus on training participants on the trade information sourcing, processing and dissemination activities with emphasis on leather and leather products and new technologies.
Participants who are entitled to apply are relevant information technology personnel in the LLPI contact Ministry and its Country Unit representatives.
Knowledge shared at the training workshop would assist trainees develop professional skills to increase efficiency in market information needs assessment, market information collection, analysis and dissemination, and in operating and monitoring information services. COMESA/LLPI will also officially launch the newly established Regional Network System, simultaneously with the training workshop.
