Africa Leather and Leather Products Institute (ALLPI) conducted briefing about the Fifth World Leather Congress (5th WLC) and the XXXVI IULTCS Congress for LIDI professional staff members on 12th August 2021 at LIDI conference room. The briefing was made by Mrs. Birkinesh Gonfa, Investment, Trade & Marketing Expert of ALLPI, Mr. Awlachew Sintie, Information Technology and M&E Expert of ALLPI and  Mr. Mohamed Seid, Deputy Director of LIDI.

The objective of the briefing session was to inform the staff members about the importance of the two global events that are to be hosted in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and the progresses that had been made so far towards hosting the Events. In addition, the session was aimed at explaining the technical parts of abstract submission and registration processes. Clarification was also made about the publication of the article after presented during the Congress. Finally, staff members were requested to submit abstracts to be presented in the XXXVI IULTCS Congress 2021 to be held on 3rd – 5th November 2021.
